What we collect, and why

This website is run by 22-Industries Ltd. This page explains what information is collected when you visit it. If you have any questions, or want something removed, email us at info@22-industries.com.

Analytics

We use dev-team-tools to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. Each time a page loads, a single small message is sent to dev-team-tools. It records:

  • the page you viewed (for example /contact/)
  • the date and time of the visit
  • your browser’s user agent string, which describes the browser and device you’re using
  • a rough device type (phone, tablet, desktop or TV)
  • an approximate location, at city and country level

We don’t use cookies, ask you to sign in, or give you an identifier, and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is used briefly to work out the approximate location, but it isn’t stored. This means a record can’t be linked back to you or to a particular browser.

We collect this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR). We don’t sell or share this data, or use it for advertising. Records are deleted after two years.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Like any web host, AWS receives your IP address and browser details when it sends you the pages, and its own privacy notice applies to that.

Everything else on the site, including fonts and icons, is served from our own hosting, so no other third parties are involved.

Emailing us

If you email us, we’ll use your email address and whatever you include in your message to reply to you. We won’t add you to a mailing list or share your details.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Because analytics records can’t be linked to an individual, there usually won’t be anything we can find or delete for you, but we’re happy to help with any request.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we’ll update this page.
